Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Nairobi - Nakuru
- Pick up from the airport upon arrival, safari briefing.
- Depart Nairobi to Lake Nakuru national park.
- An easy relaxing sightseeing drive via subsistence farming communities.
- Tea and coffee plantations will be seen along the route.
- Drive on past the rift valley lakes Naivasha and Elementaita.
- Lake Nakuru national park hosts large flocks of flamingoes, pelicans and other bird species.
- It’s a bird paradise and home to rhinos, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes and many more animal species.
Day 2 - In Nakuru
- Day spent in Lake Nakuru National Park with full day game drives.
Day 3 - Nakuru- Masai Mara
- Drive via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game
- It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.
- Maasai Mara is blessed with a permanent water supply,
- Maasai Mara has a permanent population of plains game.
- The "big five" elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino are quite common.
Day 4 - In Masai Mara
- Spend the day in Maasai Mara with full day game drives giving you a chance to view the animals that eluded you the previous day.
- You can also engage in other extra activities as suggested by your tour guide.
- Hot air balloon is a perfect way to fully understand the extent of the landscape as well as a great way to see vast swathes of animals as they move through their habitat
- Taking a balloon safari is an optional activity offered at an extra cost, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the Masai Mara like few have.
- You can also allow yourself a visit to a Masai village; home to warriors of the plains who have a legendary relationship with the animals, greeted with a traditional song and dance, followed by time to explore the village and learn of their culture and ancient heritage, an extra fee is charged for this truly unique experience.
Day 5 - In Masai Mara
- Spend one more day at the park with full day game drives
Day 6 - In Seoul
- Early breakfast at the lodge, check out.
- Join your driver guide and drive back to Nairobi,
- Drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your local flight to Diani
- Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 7 - In Diani
- Spend the day at the hotel enjoying the sea, sun and sand.
Day 8 - Departure Day
- Breakfast at the hotel, check out.
- Transfer to the Ukunda airport for your domestic flight back to Nairobi.
- Upon arrival transfer to your hotel, spend the rest of the day at the hotel.
